This is the exact championship point winning Puma racket Boris Becker used during the 1988 Nabisco Masters Final at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
At the 1988 Nabisco Masters ATP Tour Finals event, Boris Becker found himself in the final against 3-time defending champion Ivan Lendl. The result was one of the most classic matches ever, with Becker prevailing 5-7, 7-6(5), 3-6, 6-2, 7-6(5). After winning an incredible championship point, Becker tossed this racket into the crowd, and it was caught by our consignor! He has provided a letter attesting to this. The incredible Puma racket bears Boris Becker's name on the frame, as well as a stringing tag that reads "Becker 72/65 and 12/1. Becker's racket is gripped with a Babolat VS overgrip, which is not gripped to the top. This can be seen as the same in video of his victory.
