NOW AT AUCTION: https://thetennisauction.com/bids/bidplace?itemid=34
While fans of the big 3 of tennis, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic, have long debated who is the greatest ever, there is no contesting that the most dominant player ever is Rafael Nadal on the red clay of Roland Garros. Presented is the exact racket that Rafael Nadal used to win the 2007 Roland Garros French Open championship point. In a gripping four-set final against Roger Federer, Nadal ultimately collapsed onto his back in triumphant celebration, laying on the iconic clay courts of Roland Garros. It was in this moment of victory that he released the very racket, now up for auction, onto the hallowed red clay. Nadal also used this racket in previous matches of the tournament, including in his Semifinal victory against Novak Djokovic. This victory was Nadal's 3rd Grand Slam title.
This historic racket was previously housed in the Australian Tennis Museum, as part of eight-time Grand Slam winner Ken Rosewall’s personal collection. The recent closure of the museum–to be converted into a gymnasium– has allowed collectors and fans alike this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. It remains in the original premium frame that it had in the museum. A coveted Resolution Photomatch accompanies the racket, forensically confirming that it was the very racket which won the championship point of the final match.

At the 2007 French Open, Rafa Nadal went through one of the most absurd draws of champions that tennis has ever seen. Nadal defeated 5 previous or eventual Grand Slam champions, and four players who reached the #1 ATP Ranking in their career to win the title. That includes Juan Martin Del Potro in the 1st Round, Lleyton Hewitt in the Round of 16, Carlos Moya (Nadal's current coach) in the Quarterfinal, Novak Djokovic in the Semifinal, and Roger Federer in the Final. Nadal used this racket in all of those matches.
